Is olive skin considered white skin?

Elfreda Grossen: Sometimes it can be hard to tell like u are the type of person who likes to go tanning then maybe your skin tone will change frequently. But my sister has kind of olive toned skin and she is considered white. I guess their is like a scale of lightness and darkness between skin tone. If you are olive toned but on the lighter side then u could b considered white. But if you are olive toned and are on the darker side, and if you have ethnic backgrounds maybe you are not considered white?
