computer programs?

Ezekiel Kadner: Yes, of course. You cannot, in most instances, install an application to your flash drive because there are software dependencies such as registry files. But there are precompiled programs that can run within your flash drive. Some applications can be found in portableapps.com. Open office portable is a neat office productivity suite that can be downloaded into your flash drive.

Jorge Gerrero: yes

Alexis Reyer: Since this is not an answer it is a question. I submitted my question in the "Ask A Question in the Question Box". and it would not submit it. Why I have no f$@^%&g idea! Here was my question.Every time I start up my computer, up pops this Java program asking me if I want to install it. I say no! After doing this it screws up my computer i.e. everything starts running slow. My MS-Word and even my internet connection. I have three Java installations on my computer. How they got there, I have no idea. I tried to uninstall them and they wi! ll not uninstall. Java is actually enforcing its self on me and messes with my computer when I say no! If anyone can tell me how to get rid of this Java programI would sure appreciate it. Thank you!...Show more

Valentine Willinger: If you have the "Setup" file or the installer for the program, then of course you can put it on a USB and transfer it to any PC.. But if you mean to go Go to program files "or the directory on which the program is installed" and copy the files then paste them on another PC then that of course will not work!:)I was talking about the Windows operating system.. if you are using Unix re-post your question with that note!;)...Show more

Jonathan Schlussel: Yes you can, but you may experience licensing problems as you are using two identical license. I did that and both of my computers' antivirus stopped working.

Omar Phipps: You can transfer the 'set-up' file (or installer file) of the anti-virus from one computer to another and run i! t on that computer to install the anti-virus.
